My parents have ‘surprised’ me with a brand new pair of low-cut bright white Converse kicks, and whilst I am extremely appreciative for the gift, the last time I bought Converse was in 2006 where black hi-tops and dresses were cool to pair together.

I still wear them w/ whatever, on the weekends. I’ve worn them since third grade and I’m not going to stop whether or not they’re “cool.” :P Just wear them w/ jeans and a sweater like normal shoes.

i have a pair of grey low-cut ones, and i wear them in the summer all the time with skirts and shorts when i don’t feel like wearing flip-flops.
