the true chocolate champion.
“Whenever I get a package of plain M&Ms, I make it my duty to continue the strength and robustness of the candy as a species. To this end, I hold M&M duels. Taking two candies between my thumb and forefinger, I apply pressure, squeezing them together until one of them cracks and splinters. That is the “loser,” and I eat the inferior one immediately. The winner gets to go...

him: I was wondering...
her: Hm?
him: Where do you think we end up, when we, you know, die?
her: ...
him: It's probably something that's going to happen a long, long time after.
her: (smiles) I guess you go to heaven... It must be.
him: I really want to become the sky. Become the sky and watch over you forever.
her: Like a stalker?
him: (laughs)
her: Then I'll look up to the sky when I think of you. A bright day means you're in a good mood. A rainy day means you're crying. A dusky sky means you're blushing. The night sky means you're holding me gently in your arms.
him: (takes her hand) I can only buy you such a cheap ring, so to compensate... I'll give all the stars in the universe to you.
her: But... I just want you. The best present is staying by my side forever.

through the backyards of our neighbours.
I want to start a new process, where I write things down that are bothering me, and I crumple them up and leave them places. It sounds rather pointless, but I think it would be kind of like a small way of releasing the tension. & then,
people will find them and read them;
or they’ll just blow away,
and disintegrate somewhere.

This happiness, glowing within me. Despite this week, this past month, I’m just happy. And sure, things aren’t working out the way I planned, or wanted them to, which is unfortunate. But I suppose even greater things are coming along, they always are, aren’t they? Opportunities to discuss and discover and explore. A chance to create and realise my...

Luke: So, the other day, I realised that I was just like a fictional character- to the extreme degree that I felt as if I would be probabilistically less likely to think of anything creative and original because the creator of the fictional character had likely already thought of anything I might say.
Luke: But that's not awesome.
Luke: That's crushingly depressing.
Luke: What is awesome, then, is when you turn to your girlfriend and say, "This fictional character is eerily like me, and it troubles me that I'm demonstrably not unique. I propose that I create a brand new personality, one that no one has thought of before, where I'll get to indulge in the qualities I think are desirable, free fro- OH MY GOD THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT T-REX WOULD SAY WHEN CONFRONTED WITH THIS SITUATION."
Jessica: You're reflecting too deeply. You should take my example and hit that sweet spot – stop thinking about it juuuuust in time. It's a happy life.
Luke: That's exactly what Comet Queen from Legion of Superheroes and Zero Hour would say, right before she jumped off the spaceship foolishly for Star Boy.

When this guy started this project there was no way for him to distribute it. He started before viral video. Before Internet video. Before digital cameras were widely available. Thankfully, modern technology has caught up allowing 17 years worth of pictures to become more than a really awesome flip book.
